Compliments for the whole team, I love the program
Maybe a tip for the future?
By my owm mistake I imported the QRZ.com confirmed qso direct in the log without checking the box for dupes. Stupid but it has happen and now I have about 3000 more qso's in the log. I can read in several discussions this happens quite often by other ham. Maybe it would be nice to add a possibility to search the log for Call + Date + Band + Mode. So all dupes can be selected and manualy or automatic deleted by the user.
Or I missed it in the manual but found it nowhere how to correct this on a easy way.
Thanks all,
Harry

Re: Suggestions for the future
Page 19 of the user guide covers this
Maybe it would be nice to add a possibility to search the log for Call + Date + Band + Mode. So all dupes can be selected and manually or automatic deleted by the user.
On import Log4OM checks the Call sign, band, mode, date and time (Plus many other checks) for matches and if dupes are detected they are not imported.
Your problem is likely to be a time issue because some programs use the end time as the time not the start time which is the normal convention used by all leading software like HRD, DXLabs and Log4OM.
You will understand if the time does not match it is considered a valid QSO and that is why we provide the Duplicates time facility described on page 19
I suspect that you posted in the version 1 forum by mistake so I will move this thread to the V2 area and also to the user support section as this is not a feature request

Re: Suggestions for the future
Thanks for your reply Terry.
After installation of the software I read page 19 from the manual.
When implemating the QRZ.com confirmed qso I forgot to check the 'dupes box'.
My mistake ofcourse and now I have quite a lot dupes in the log.
My tip is to add an opportunity to correct this afterwards, manual or automatic.
Thanks and '73

Your easiest way to remove the dupes is as followspa1hgm wrote: ↑05 Jun 2021, 10:14 Thanks for your reply Terry.

1. Export an ADIF of your log
2. Create a new database from File menu
3. Import the ADIF file into the new database but using the dupe facility set to an appropriate time interval, say 30 minutes?
The dupes in the ADIF file will be rejected and listed in the import log file
