The strong points of Log4OM v2

I am of the opinion to thank these guys for the work done.

After a poor week of testing I would like to make a small list of the PROs of version 2. I imagine there are still many undecided:
- much faster loading then V1
- finally there is no longer the communicator as a separate application. I often closed it by mistake
- WSJT immediately connected at startup without having any action on the communicator
- I really like the layout and the possibility of the preview of the station contacted
- I love the F2 function that allows you to see other useful information instantly (example, finally I can get a preview of the American State I'm contacting. Very useful for the 50 states I have been chasing for a year)
- finally I can change the frequency with the mouse (if it were possible to vary the power it would be fantastic)
- the analysis of the propagation is really cool and complete
- the configuration menu is much more organized divided into groups.
These are only the first impressions that occur after a few days.
I have yet to test it in the contest but at the moment Log4OM forever!

I'll second this 'motion'. I job very well done indeed.

I'll second this one as well. What a relief.

This feature alone convinced me to switch to v2 permanently.

I used v1 in parallel with another logger. There was something about the UI in v1 that prevented from 'embracing' it completely. Some/most of them are no longer an 'issue' in v2, and as stated, the propagation tab in v2 'closed the deal' for me.

N1MM+ is fantastic, make no mistake about it, but it's way more than this 'amateur' contester needs. If I can eliminate another package due to redundancy, I'll.

For this to happen, I wish v2 integrates with MMVARI and FLDIGI in the same way as N1MM+, that is, by using their respective engines only. I see the FLDIGI configuration window, but I have not checked it yet.
