Hi Franck,
Couple of questions

What version of Log4OM are you using (Help/About)

Which rig control are you using - Omnirig or Hamlib

What make and model of radio

Which interface between the radio and the computer

You probably think that I am asking stupid questions but with this information I am able to emulate your set up and possible see the problem that you are having

Hi, my friend.
No problem for your questions.
I Use the last version 116, my TRX is Yeasu MARKV, i use Omniring , with direct RS232 cables (TX and Computer)
When I use Omniring tester, no problems, Omniring responding.
When I clic on cluster stations no proplems, the TRX adjust, but the frequency in ' QSO info F1' is locked on 14122, and modes too (grey)
Impossible to use in cluster F9 the fonction 'LINK TO RADIO'', before update it was ok.
Also, before update LOG40M, i had no problems.
All the best

Have you tried clicking on the lock icons to see if anything changes?

Have you restarted your computer?

Yes, computer restarted, LOG40M reloaded, icon lock is unlock same problem. Tomorow I try to change computer to test.

Also Terry, can you tell me the difference between Omniring and Hamlib. I know use Omniring, but i don't understand to use hamlib, is it DOS commands?

Personally I find Hamlib unreliable whereas Omnirig is rock solid, especially for older rigs.

Also Omnirig multi threads so you can connect many programs to it. I have the following software connected to my ic756 Pro III via Omnirig and all synchronise band, frequency and mode

Log4om
SDR-Radio consul by Simon HB9DRV
MiXW
Bandmaster

Now another question

Did you uninstall Log4om before you installed version 1.16?

Hi Terry
It's ok now. I have removed Omniring, Ccleaner, install Omniring, and I put icon parameters on "run on adminitrateur" , and it's good.
But I don't know exactly why this problem.....
For your information i am uder Windows 8.1.
Thank you for your support, all the best

Sounds like a bad install of Omnigig or alternatively if you used Ccleaner then it's almost certainly removed key component.

Ccleaner causes many many issues for software I had constant problems when working with Simon on HRD with Ccleaner and we still see many issues with other programs being bastardised when user use ccleaner

Log4OM is not affected by registry cleaners. We don't install anything on windows registry, except the rows that windows adds by itself to remember that log4om has been installed using setup.

frequency value is locked when log4om reads CAT values. This also means that BAND is locked when Log4OM has a positive lock on the CAT.

We don't have, actually, a feature to control rig frequency manually, so the freq and band values are locked because in "READ ONLY" (read from CAT).
I'm missing the problem, or probably i misunderstood something?

Hi Daniele,and Terry
I think I have found! it's a VFO problem in Omniring.
I've used OMNIRING CLIENT, When I had problem, when I turn VFO A on my transceiver, only FREQUENCY move in Omniring, VFO A and VFO B don't move.
After re install Omniring, FREQUENCY and VFO A move in the same time.
And it's 100% ok at this time.
