So in version 1 when I downloaded confirmations it checked and dowloaded the new ones or ones since last download.

in version 2 it does download the new ones... but it does some second request and download. See attached.
it downloads the 10, sees that none are new.
then it makes a request and download a second batch of 48. it does this 48 thing every time.

Can someone explain why it does this? do I have something set wrong

The first half is the LOTW download that you are used to

The second half is trying to download any cards that you may have had verified by a card checker
