External Logs RTTY > ASCI

My RTTY mode contacts are feeding my external loggers, QRZ and HRD as Mode ASCI. In eQSL my RTTY contacts show up as RTTY (ASCI) which is fine. This being the case, I assume there is some deficiency in QRZ and HRD? As background, I use N1MM Logger to feed Log4OM via UDP broadcast input and RTTY mode shows up in Log4OM as expected. I'm looking for an understanding of this apparent deficiency in QRZ and HRD and I'm sure you can explain it.

OM,

I have confirmed this behavior by uploading an RTTY QSO to HRDLog and it appears on HRDLog as ASCI mode. Within HRDLog, the QSO can be edited to RTTY. Short of packet sniffing, the upload log and program log both show the mode sent by Log4OM as RTTY. Doing a ADIF export of this same QSO shows "<MODE:4>RTTY <SUBMODE:4>ASCI", so it looks like HRDLog is picking up the submode field.

I'll report this to Danielle, but it may be an HRDLog issue. Will have to see.

Thanks,
