No lookup in log4om

Ok, Windows 7 home premium, WSJT-x 2.1.2 JTalert 2.15.9 Log4OM 2.3.0.0
In the manual it says to change the default WSJT-x setting under the reporting tab for UDP server port number FROM the default of 2237 TO 2333. And it says to change the Secondary UDP Server (depracated) FROM 2333 TO 2237. So you are actually reversing the default settings of the WSJT-x ports.
Then it says in LOG4OM manual page 134 to Enter port number 2237 in the port field, then give it connection name WSJT LOGGING, service type ADIF_Message, add it. Then enter port number 2333 give it name WSJT DX CALL select service type JT_MESSAGE and add it. Save and apply
So if you do that then the QSO lookup is populate as soon as a callsign is entered in WSJT DX call window. HOWEVER now JTalert will no longer function at all because it relies on these ports in WSJT-X being left for default. There doesn't seem to be a way to change them in JTalert. It wants what it wants. Why did you have us change the defaults in WSJT-X?
So you cannot "have JTalert functioning while LOG4OM is functioning. I can not see any way around this problem , And I don't understand how anyones is working. . Color me "baffled".
