"Label definition" memory error while testing PDF

Hi,
v2.4.0.0
when setting ut the labels in "Utilities"->"Label defintion", and hitting the "Test PDF" button, I get the following error:

If I have Adobe Reader open while trying this, the actual PDF will open. If Adobe is not open, the PDF will not open.
Are there any compatibility issues with certain Adobe versions? I use Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 2020.006.20042.

Anyone seen this before?

Adobe Reader has it's own mind from time to time. If you set the 'exe' for Adobe Reader to run with Administrative Privileges it will likely work OK.

Or you can install Foxit Reader that is also free and seems to work much better than Adobe Reader. I switched over to it about a year ago.

Hi, the "exe" trick did not work, so I stopped using Adobe, and problem disappeared. Thanks for the advice of Foxit.
