How to log with a call sign suffix

As part of the RSGB “Get on The Air To Care”, I would like to use the suffix /NHS after my call sign, all day tomorrow. I will be using SSB and FT8.

I have applied for the certificate for LOTW and created my QRZ page for this call modification, but how do I go about logging in LOG4OM, to keep the QSOs in my master log book as normal yet still acknowledging others will be logging me as /NHS? What do I need to do? I will be only using the call sign for the day.

2E0CCD/NHS

Any help appreciated,
Chris

Change the station call in the program config, change it back when finished

Thank you.

I appreciate this is a separate issue but now I have done this, there is an error with the upload to QRZ and it is no longer working with LOTW. I have applied and loaded the /NHS certificate but it tells me there is an error still!

station callsign for this logbook doesn`t match callsign.

Any help appreciated.

The suffix is not an IARU/ITU/ADIF recognised suffix and only an ill considered idea flouted by the RSGB so you will have problems with any on line service that sticks to the rules until they decide perhaps to accept this anomaly. The best thing you can do is contact QRZ and LOTW for help and advice.

The RSGB/OFCOM should have issued a series of special event GB4 calls to support the NHS not promoted an unrecognised device that will cause hours of reprogramming by every software developer and on line logbook sysop.

Dont get me wrong I am an avid supporter of our NHS system and especially its underpaid and undervalued workers but this kind of irresponsible suggestion by our governing body is unacceptable and will cause many of us to leave the RSGB.
