Terry, first – thanks for incorporating Net Control into ver2. It is a great feature and I am sure many people are glad to see it back.
Noticed a few kinks we might want to work out. 1) I usually set up a contact or “Net User” by hand-jamming in all the information because these are usually people I know and I enter their nick names which may differ from what is listed on QRZ, which eventually updates or modifies my hand-jam entry.
Note1: When setting up a contact I usually do not hit the “search” button to complete the form. However, when the net is operational I may click on a station and then click the “edit call” button hoping to enter RST and comments. Instead of recording my data, “edit call” activates QRZ [or whatever] and updates all contact fields for all stations in the “on air” section. ------ With stations in the “on air” section, how can I keep my original hand-jam entry without being over written by an automatic update?
Note2: I realize the “edit call” feature is perhaps designed to work when clicking on a station in the “Net Users” section and then clicking “edit call” to modify. If so, perhaps “edit call” should not be available for stations in the “on air” section.
Note3: When setting up a new contact or call sign, I always enter data in the “Special Interest group info” data box. When I return this contact from “on air” to “Net Users” this “Special Interest …” info does not get automatically recorded in my log or “Recent QSOs.”
2) Speaking of “edit call” … not really sure of its utility. It seems it only runs an automatic update to update QRZ name and loco data. It seems it auto-updates all active calls in the “on air” section. We can not highlight one “on air” station to “edit call” because if we click on a station in the “on air” window – it “logs out,” returns to the “net users” window, and records the QSO in the log.
3) What would be very useful is the ability to “edit QSO.” I usually enter notes or comments for various stations when the net is underway. Also I want to enter RST strengths for each station. Currently I can not do that when a station is in the “on air” section. Further, whatever I enter for RST and comments are applied to the entire list of “on air” stations.
4) Perhaps the easiest solution would be to turn off all auto-updates and auto-fills and make it purely manual – similar to Net Control, ver1.
FYI -- Using Log4OM2 version 2.5.0.0 and ran updates. Using a new Dell XPS 8930 running Windows 10 Pro - version 10.0.18363 Build 18363 - 64 bit w/Intel Core i7-9700 CPU @ 3 GHz. No other programs were running except for Mozilla, and very few other programs were installed on the computer at that point except for Microsoft Office.
Thanks

Net Control observations
Re: Net Control observations
Another issue, that is also the same problem in version 1...
When moving callsigns up/down the net list, the time is reset to the time you move the call in the list.
The time of first joining the net should not change when moving a call in the list.
Also, can we edit the net control columns to remove "Country", etc?
