cq zone not logged from jtalert

I have just noticed jtalert, whether for wsjtx or jtdx has stopped sending, or maybe log4om stopped receiving the cq to log. over the last few days I have noticed cq zone is zero for anything logged that way
yes I do have qrz key, and jtalert does show the cq zone in it logging window at the bottom.
itu zone logs fine, although not always correct.
and if I tell log4om to check online to qrz, it corrects cq zone
did I toggle something off, that should be on. anybody else having this issue?
