When I select a call from the cluster that is operating split mode of operation it appears to put the rig into split mode of operation.

Is that correct or have I missed something.

I'm using Omnirig as it mentioned in the setup instructions it was the more stable of the two choices.

Firstly lets establish that the program is not designed to set your rig to split mode by clicking the cluster spots, regardless of any split information in the cluster comments or notes fields.

I am not familiar with the Flex radios but I suspect that the ini file supplied by Omnirig for your radio may have an error in its contents.

Luckily the ini files are only text files and can be modified so if you can point me towards a document that lists the Flex CAT command structure I will see if I can find out what is happening.

There is obviously a command to put the rig into split mode so it should just be a case of checking if that command string appears in the ini file.
