Log4OM

Hi,
I accidantly added my SOTA reference to the "Award refs.", that containts the award references from the person I talked to. Now it lookes like we were at the same mountain, having a S2S.

So, I do the following to (try to) solve the issue:
1) Right click on QSO, "Edit QSO"
2) Go to "Award Refs."
3) Mark the error SOTA reference, and hit the delete button
4) Save and Exit.

Result: No change, as I return to the QSO the same SOTA reference is still there.
Any ideas on what I do wrong, or is this a bug in software? I have same problem with all QSO's (5 in total) I've tried to fix.

What Log4OM release are you running, see help/About and let me know the number please

I edited "My References" many times before and this worked fine.
LB4MI is right, references of the other station (inconsistently called award ref or contact ref) cannot be removed. The check mark goes away, but when the view (recent QSOs or QSO manager) refreshes the entry is still there. Using version 2.7.0.0.

BTW: A pity that both reference fields are not available for mass updates. Once I forgot to enter My Ref in the configuration before entering an entire SOTA log. Can only be fixed by editing each and every QSO individually, or - what I did - with an appropriate database tool.

Hi,
now running v.2.8.0.0, the problem was in the list of things that was fixed.

However, I still experience the same problem.
Any ideas if there is something else I do wrong?

Have you restarted Log4om

Have you rescanned the references in the Awards statistics/maintenence tab?

1) Yes, I have restarted Log4OM. I'm always starting Log4OM with admin priviligies. Not sure if it's needed, but thought it can't harm the functionality.

2) I have now run the "WIPE AWARD REFERENCES" and after: "RESCAN AWARD REFERENCES", did a restart of Log4OM, and it did not change the issue.

Using filters, it lookes like I have 11 of these QSO's where the SOTA reference is on the "Contact references", i addition to be on "My references" (not all refs. are in place on "My ref." perhaps after the wipe, but I'll easilly clean that up later)

Where the "Contact references" can't be removed, or; it re-appears when I exit the "Edit QSO".

Does this post mean your problem is fixed or is there still an issue in version 2.8?.
