Incorrect Mode

Currently running the latest version (2.8.0.0) and have just noticed a strange problem.
I have LOG4OM, WSJTX and GridTracker all communicating with each other and when running FT8 I have noticed that LOGOM indicates the mode as FT8 and then changes it to CW on the screen for some reason. Each contact is logged in the correct mode.
This problem has only just appeared since upgrading to the latest version.
The Rig is a Kenwood TS-890 running in USB-D mode.
Has anyone else seen this issue?
