Importing an ADIF from HRDLogbook does not import QSO end date and time

I'm really liking Log4OM, and finding it better than HRDLogbook, which I've used for many years. I have over 36,000 QSOs logged in that program.

Upon exporting an ADIF from HRDLogbook and importing it to Log4OM I find every QSO has a blank QSO end time when they had an end time in the source log book. Is this a bug, or some sort of ADIF incompatibility?

After a lot of help from Terry I learned:
  • HRD doesn't save and therefore doesn't output to ADIF a QSO_end_date
  • Log4OM concatenates QSO_date and time_on together and also QSO_end_date and time_off together within the program
  • If there is no QSO_end_date on import then any time_off is not imported
  • One can use the free program ADIF Master to copy all QSO_dates to a new QSO_end_date within that program and then save it
  • Once that is done, Log4OM will import the time_off concatenated with the new QSO_end_date
  • Note that any QSO spanning midnight will have a QSO_end_date that is one day early
I have imported my HRD Logbook and preserved all time_off data albeit with the caveat above.
