The latest version of jt alert 2.16.11 is not running with Log4om v2, wsjtx and gridtracker. The release notes mention multicast. GT will not receive any messages since the update so i'm guessing I need to set multicast in wsjtx and GT which I have done to no avail. does anyone know if there are settings in log4om also that need to be changed. Hope all that makes sense cheers.

Running 2.16.10 which is the latest official relase. 2.16.11 is only for testing and it stops working
in a few weeks. For changes in this special version check the release notes of 2.16.11 and/or ask
for it in the JTalert community. Think the people using 16.11 are very rare in the Log4OM community.

OK. Thanks for you reply. I've gone back to 2.16.10. I can stop meddling about now and pray they don't make the changes.

Have noted that Laurie has released v .11 for general us.

There are also a number of complaints on the Groups.IO Forum with OMs having problems with that new release.

FYI -- I just got an e-mail advising of a V .12 release of JTAlert to fix all the problems noted (at least some of them) in the V .11 release.
