Hi all,
Running version 2.9.0.0
I have automatic logging set up for QRZ, Clublog, eQSL and LoTW. In all cases the credentials have been checked against their respective websites and are correct.
On the first three the 'Automatic upload on new QSO' checkbox is checked, on LoTW the 'Automatic upload on close' checkbox is checked.
QSO's are imported into LOG4OM2 from a WSJT-X adif file
Maybe I just don't understand what the checkbox on the first three means, but I only get automatic uploads on LoTW, the others I have to do manually.
Have I missed a setting somewhere?
Thanks for looking

Re: Not auto-logging to some online logs
Imported via the import ADIF method in File Tab or imported via UDP which has to setted up in the
Log4OM Connections settings ?
If you import ADIF via the File menu nothing will be uploaded automatically. In that case
you have to go to the QSL Manager and have to select and upload by manual way.

Re: Not auto-logging to some online logs
I've been importing via the File tab, but are you saying it should work via a UDP connection? I've now set this up (with a service type of ADIF_MESSAGE in LOG4OM2) to see what happens

No not the ADIF monitor or import, disable that and use the UDP methods outlined in our user guideG6MWQ wrote: 07 Oct 2020, 15:04 I've been importing via the File tab, but are you saying it should work via a UDP connection? Re: Not auto-logging to some online logs
I think maybe I was misunderstood, I've set up an inbound UDP connection from WSJT-X via Software integration > Connections.
I'll try reading the relevant part of the manual but they usually just end up confusing me

Re: Not auto-logging to some online logs
Ok, I've just recreated the UDP connection and substituted ADIF_MESSAGE for JT_MESSAGE

Re: Not auto-logging to some online logs
Well it cant be much simpler just read the extracts from our user guide that I have replicated below
JT programs integration
When using WSJT and associated variants in all cases CAT control is via OMNIRIG,
the appropriate radio (Rig1 or Rig2) must be selected in the WSJT software and the
Log4OM program – DO NOT SELECT THE RADIO BY NAME
1. Users MUST use Omnirig and select the correct rig profile
2. Log4OM, Omnirig and WSJT must all be 'RUN AS AN ADMINISTRATOR'
3. In Log4OM/settings/Program configuration/CAT Interface select 'Invert SSB side (Digital)
4. In Log4OM/settings/Program configuration/CAT Interface select 'Switch to digital mode when
required' - Also SELECT FT8 from the drop-down menu.
5. In WSJT File/Settings/Radio select the correct Omnirig Rig (NOT the radio), select CAT as PTT
method, DATA/PKT as Mode and FAKE IT as 'Split operation'
6. Ensure that all other Log4OM and WSJT UDP settings correspond EXACTLY to the Log4OM user
guide
Connecting direct to WSJT-X or WSJT-Z
In Log4OM settings/program configuration/software integration/Connections UDP inbound
• Enter port number 2237 in the port field
• Complete the connection name field, in this case WSJT_DIRECT
• Select 'Service type' JT_MESSAGE
• Click the green cross (+) to add the connection to the list as in the image below
• Click 'Save and Apply'
In Log4OM settings/program configuration/software integration/Applications/WSJT-X/JTDX, check the box 'Import
QSO's from JT Message #12'
NOTE: Do not use other QSO insert functions from JTAlert or by using a UDP ADIF_INBOUND function or any ADIF File
Monitor otherwise it will cause duplicate QSO's to be logged.
In the WSJT File/Settings/Reporting tab complete the settings outlined in red in the image below.
• Click OK then close both programs and restart

Re: Not auto-logging to some online logs
Thanks so much for your help
QRZ, eQSL and Clublog are now being updated as soon as the QSO is completed, LoTW is being updated when LOG4OM2 is closed (as it always has been).
Thanks again
