Terry thanks for previous help; But now when I make a FT8 QSO two entries show up on the recent QSO log. What's causing the duplication?

Don't recall previous help?
However if it's logging twice it's because you made a mistake in the set up, most likely you have set up UDP logging (prefered) and also 'ADIF monitor' if you use both you will get dupes as stated in our user guide

Terry: Found a previous post regarding ADIF. un checked it and eliminated duplicate but now get error after logging that states unable to log to SQlite but saved to other log. But recent QSO's show only one entry and copy sent to ORZ log.
Under Software connections I have the following;
(/) UDP INBOUND JT MESSAGE 1240 JT ALERT REBROADCAST
(/) UDP INBOUND JT MESSAGE 2237 WSJT DIRECT
(/) UDP INBOUND ADIF MESSAGE 2235 JT ALERT QSO
I originally had the adif message checked. After unchecking and saving, the duplication stopped and the other error appeared.
Am I missing an entry under connections?... My WSJT-X setting are UDP server 127.0.0.1, port 2237 , with 3 other boxes checked
Sitting with printed copy of manual pages 186 - 193 trying to get all to be happy together.

WSTX-X 2.2.2, JTALERT 2.16.16 , Log4)M v2, Windows 10
Tried to save Snipping tool picture but wasn't able to post to this. Is snipping possible?

Think you have setted up WSJT-X to log to Log4OM and JTalert too. Stop logging from WSJT-X
himself (UDP from WSJT-X to Log4OM) or stop logging from JTalert. I only log the contacts with
JTalert and no trouble with doublets.
Screenshots don´t need a snipping tool. Use STRG+ALT+Print and you can insert the screenshot
in a graphics software like Paint or Paint plus. To insert use "Attachments" below the text field
in the forum and follow the instructions. No direct insert possible. You need to save it as a PNG
or JPEG before.

Thanks for assistance;
I'm still confused on proper setting for programs;
In Log40m I unchecked the ADIF box in Connections. In JTAlert logging, I have checked "send wsjt-x dx call to Log40m".. After contact, one entry is listed in Log40m. But after logging I get the error message
" unable to log to SQlite but saved to other log". What am I missing? Can you point me to manual page?

Hello KF6LU,
first please write a signature in the forum settings. Maybe "73´s YOURNAME, KF6LU. It´s much more
comfortable to talk to a person and not to a callsign only, HI.
Will try to check out your problem with WSJT-X/JTalert at the upcoming weekend. Friday is my last
working day for the year and i have a bit more time for the support, for alpha testing and for the
hobby himself.
Think there´s something wrong with your UDP inbound messages from JTalert and WSJT-X. But for
first tests, do you have logging to V2 enabled in JTalert ? If yes please uncheck "send DX call to Log4OM"
in JTalert. This could be send by WSJT-X himselfe. Uncheck direkt logging from WSJT-X to Log4OM.
More at the weekend if you don´t get it to run in the meantime.

Seem to be all working now. Removed all UDP entries accept for the ADIF. Logging only one entry.
No error messages.
