VK0 - Heard Island

Here is a weird situation. I am manually updating all of my awards info for primarily two call signs. For my Hawaiian log, I entered a string [about 20 call signs entered individually one after the other] of information and then viewed the results to check my work. Noticed DXCC entity 111, VK0, Heard Island is missing from my Hawaiian log form. When I View > Awards Status > Award > DXCC ... Heard Island does not appear.

Here is the odd thing ... I go to my AH6FX Virginia log and do the same thing. Guess what -- Head Island is present.

I checked the awards situation for three other call signs -- all MISSING Heard.

How can I recover Heard?

FYI -- Using Log4OM2 NextGen version 2.11.0.0. Using a Dell XPS 8930 running Windows 10 Pro - version 10.0.19041 Build 19041 - 64 bit w/Intel Core i7-9700 CPU @ 3 GHz. No other programs were running except for Mozilla and Microsoft Office when I performed the latest update to NextGen.

First check that all Heard Island QSO's have the correct DXCC ref 111 and country name Heard Island, if not then update them

If it still does not show Heard Island QSO's in the awards...........................

Try refreshing the references

View/Award status

DXCC/Mixed

Maintenance tab in Awards window

Rescan Award references

Problem solved. Here is what happened:
* Evidentially VK0DA's country was changed from Heard Island to Antarctica during the Log4OM1 [ver 1.39.0.0] migration to Log4OM2. I reviewed the Log4OM1 pre-conversion log and it correctly listed Heard Island.
* The primary reason for my current problem is likely related to the how I view the DXCC "spreadsheet" or matrix. The "Show worked only" box defaults to "checked" therefore I see only DXCC entities I worked.
** That means I had a double whammy. 1: VK0DA appeared as Antarctica and 2: "Show worked only" was checked so I did not see Heard Island in the matrix.

Now for the problem logging issue ... country properly reads Heard Island and when I uncheck "Show worked only" I see Heard Island ... however, DXCC 111 Heard appears regardless because it is now properly logged. [[I am guessing the 'Awards Refs" tab generated DXCC@111 prompts DXCC 111 to appear on the awards matrix.]] Good hook.

Suggested minor fix ... allow "Show worked only" to remain "permanently" on or off depending on user selection. I recall Log4OM1 may have had that feature enabled.

That would be fine for awards with just a few hundred references like DXCC, the problem is with awards like WWFF with 130,000 plus references so displaying all refs in that case would cause a dramatic slowing of the grid fill.

There are more and more awards with many thousands of references like SOTA, POTA etc so its best to open with show worked only and let the user chose to show all.
