French Departments

Hello
when looking at the detail of a QSO with a French station ( Edit QSO / His Details)
we can add the name of the department in the "state" field and that's fine ...
BUT :
the departments are not sorted in alphabetical order and therefore it is very difficult to validate the department

I did not look at everything but also it is not Hautea-Pyrénées but Hautes-Pyrénées

you can find the official list here
https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liste_des ... n%C3%A7ais

but I propose the following changes:

- Add the department number before the name for example 78 - Yvelines

in fact the French people use numbers a lot and not the official name ...
for example for the contest "cup of the REF" we pass this department number

- Be able to sort on this department number OR sort on the Department name

Thank you beforehand if you will take these remarks into account.

and if you could confirm (or not) if you will take this request into account ...

Did you consider editing and sorting the order yourself in the 'states.csv' ? sort the entries for DXCC 227 alphabetically A-Z in a spreadsheet

In case you cant find the file its at C:\Users\YOUR USER NAME\AppData\Roaming\Log4OM2

Hi Terry , Dan

The reason is simple,
In France Ain = 01 and not 1 as in the "states" file.
the order thus becomes 1,10,11,...... 2, 20, 21
And not 01, 02, 03 ......

This also applies to other countries such as Croatia.
Each time the state starts with "0".

This worked before in the first versions 2
Following an update, this change appeared (I can't remember when).

The "0" is no longer taken into account.
