Cat Control quit working on Win4Icom

I will state up front that I believe my issue is operator error. I am at a loss to figure this out so here goes:
I am using Win4Icom for my 7300. I have downloaded and successfully setup Omnirig for Cat on control between Log4OM and win4icom. Also I was successful getting WSJT to run with Ominrig. The problem started when I could not decode FT8, after much work I determined the problem being my old laptop that I am using. With Win4Icom, log4om and WSJT the CPU was max'd out. This is when my issued started. I then tried to utilize just Log4OM and WSJT but could not ever get the Cat control to work on Log4OM but the QSO's would download with no issues. I then tried to reset every thing up again with Win4Icom and have never been able to get Log4OM to show Cat control. I have confirmed that all programs are user admin, the ports in Omnirig are set per the instruction in the manual and per youtubes. I also, verified the settings of the 7300 per the manual.
I believe there is a simple solution but I cannot figure this out.
By the way, I truly love Log4OM. Thanks for what you all do.
