Log4OM

I just purchased a KENWOOD TS-480HK. I need help installing it on LOG40M. Can you please provide me with the appropriate instructions. I looked in the manual and I am quite confused. I also don't know wheter to use OMNIRIG or the other one. All help is appreciated.

The 480 works fine with Log4om using Omnirig, I have one myself.

Make sure that you have the correct cable to connect the rig to the computer and follow the user guide set up instructions

Make sure that you know what the rigs Baud rate is set to - See the 480 user Manual to check the menus

Also find which com port of the computer the rig is connected to

Set Omnirig to match both of the above and it should work OK
