I installed the latest release today version 2.16.0.0 and I just found that it rolled back all the updates I had done adding new references in the POTA award. I have lost literally hundreds of award references.

I had also defined a new award and it is gone now along with the hours of work I had put into getting data into it.

I've not had this problem in other updates, is there an backup somewhere where this can be rolled back?

I have several custom made awards, these always get wiped out after every update, has been happening for many updates.

There should be backups of awards in your windows profile, path C:\Users\profilename\AppData\Roaming\Log4OM2\awards
Note Appdata is a windows hidden folder, so need to type in the path in explorer to get there.

Import all the award .xml files from here and they are back.
Whenever I make a change to an award now I always manually back it up as well, using Export Award.

Did you explore the file location that Ian mentioned? Were you able to recover your 'user-created' awards/files?

Yes I was able import my custom award again
