Log4OM

In win 10 I have been running Log40m v2 for years, but when I loaded Win 11, I'm unable to get on line to work.
WSJT is working fine once I selected com7. My Dell shows that I have a com 1 and tried that, no luck.
Win 11 also said I needed to upgrade to a win 11 PL2303 driver, but there is no new win 11 driver.
I think something in Win11's new security is prohibiting Log40M from going on line.
Log40M shows CAT working and I can log contacts into Log40M, but without Log40M going on-line, it does not log
the contacts with QRZ and likely LoTW. Thank you Ray WA1FFT

I run Win 11 with Log4OM just fine

Have you checked that all programs run as administrator ? On my new Huawei Matebook D16 i have upgraded
to Windows 11 but there is no way to install as Administrator, i have to use mouseover on the installed exe files
and use Properties/Compatibility to set them to "Run as Administrator"

Got Log40m working on win11. Issue was the Prolific PL2303 driver is not compatible yet with Win 11. Moving back to my Win10 for now. 73 Ray

I don't have W-11 on my laptops (they are not compatible with the new O/S), but do follow the various 'goings on' with W-11.

Not sure what radio you are connecting, but I happened across the Y/T link below that was just posted on 11/23/21.

At the least it is additional information. I can't endorse nor support personally what the OM posted, but (as I noted) it is additional information "and" related to ham radio.

What version of Log4OM V2 are you using? It is visible in top left banner bar of Log4OM V2.

Which CAT application have you chosen to use?

What is your rig? Do you have current/new drivers installed for that rig if required?

Are you running additional virus and such controls with your W-11 O/S?

No Problem. As i stated b4 in W11 it´s not possible (the version that i have) to use the mouseover
to the installation file and say "Install as Administrator". To use it as Admin you have to install the
program and using the mouseover/preferences/compatibility at the .exe file to change to "Use as Admin".

Nice that it works now ...
