QSO marked as 'V' when QSL marked as SENT

I accidently marked 2 QSO's as QSL received. A couple days later I noticed they were marked as 'V' verified, normal. I unmarked them and marked as QSL sent. When I run Awards and select DXCC the 2 QSO's still show as 'V' verified. Which they are not. Under Settings/Maintenance I ran Rebuild Statistics, no change. I restarted log4om, no change.
Not sure how to un-Verify them.

Hello Dave,
if you have send and received a card for a QSO it´s "Validated" (V), if you have send it to a card checker
you can set it to "Submitted". If the card is checked o.k. and the QSO count´s for your next DXCC upgrade
it´s "Granted". In my eyes the V is correct.

The QSL sent is marked yes, the QSL Received is marked NO. So why does it still show V when it is NOT confirmed.
