Cat problem

I always have problems with the cat. you forget the parameters for the 7300's hamlib. or pretend to connect to the radio giving the frequency 145.000 mhz, every now and then it works. I don't use omning because in jtdx with. cat gives me the problem that after selecting usb-d it selects rtty, then let's say that I had solved it by seeing a video for this problem but when later the tx returns to rx it selects filter 2 and I gave up preferring the hamlib. it would also be good if Log4om gives the virtual powers in split to hook up all software such as quartest or jtdx. however the pginvipale problem at the moment r and is that the cat parameters are forgotten and that it cannot connect to the radio or it gives me that it is connected but in reality it is not giving the 145mhz frequency. what can it be ??

You should download and install Omnirig, Hamlib, IMHO, is always problematic!

Having the same problems to connect my IC-7300.
I installed OmniRig and in the Cat settings I choose this option.
What should I configure in the Hamlib settings?
See my attachment.

If you have installed Omnirig you don't have to configure anything in the Hamlib tab. This settings are only needed if you use Hamlib instead of Omnirig.

Tnx for the support. I don't understand why it is not working.
In the CAT configuration the settings are:

SETTINGS:
- CAT Engine = OmniRig
- CAT delay 500ms
- Invert SSB site = ON

OMNIRIG

It WORKS!
After some help from PA4TJ it connects.
The problem was that my Baudrate in Omnirig was not correct. Changing into 115200 en it worked.
Simple but efficient Thanks for the support. :D

Basics of CAT control:

The baud rate must ALWAYS match that set in the radios menu

The Com port must ALWAYS match the port to which the radio is connected
