We had this problem with earlier releases. In my environment (Hamlib, Elecraft K3) it is still there. About every second attempt to manually start CAT fails: QRG is showing as 145500. When I then open the CAT interface screen, the "rig model" line is empty. Any ideas?

Why not try Omnirig for now?

Thanks Terry. I switched to OmniRig and the problem did not show again.
