Signal Reports change when editing QSO

Hi,
I do some portable FT8 and use SDR-control for ipad which produces my .adi file which I import into Log4om 2.21.1.0
I do a lot of post import editing/adding information to my qso's using QSO manager, but if I edit a qso from the main screen by double clicking on the qso the signal report fields will change to +30, I can't work out if it is particular numbers but it may be more + signal reports, and it can change one or the other or both, a bit random. but not every time I don't think.
and as a side question, I populate an imported .adi using the (Update info) and ("My " update) functions but in addition to that is there a way when using 'single field update' that all the selected qso's I am working on stay selected ? rather than having to carefully select the same qso's again.
Thank you in advance
