New version installation

Hi all,
I downloaded the zip file for version 2.23.0
It contains one .exe file.
Questions:
- Can I just replace the old one?
- or is it an installation program?
- and what happens to config and database?

Its an installer just run it to overwrite the existing installation.
Database and configuration should be retained but as with all GOOD Windows housekeeping please perform a backup prior to installing

It worked (of course).
Perhaps a little chapter in the manual about 'Updating the program' ?
I could not find it, maybe I did not look hard enough?
