Why do you always ask for a version number?

Log4OM is under continuous development with new versions being released every few weeks and beta releases sometimes two or three times a week so saying that you are using "The latest version" does not help because the problem your experiencing may have been fixed recently.
Last week a user emailed me for assistance stating he was using the 'Latest version' but it transpired that not only was he using version 1 but not even the latest release of that! he was using software well over 3 years old - Much changes in three years!
So please, please always quote the exact release number which is immediately visible in the top left side of the main program frame.
