Freq Display on Log4OM goes Blank using a FTDX10

Post by vk1tx »

No matter what I try , when I transmit from my FTDX10 which connected via OMNIRIG the display of the Freq goes blank.
I have a IC7610 also connected to Log4OM on radio1 and there is no issue works fine.
Have tried toroid's etc on the USB cable . Any suggestions?

Tex,

Some questions:
  • What is your name? Tex has answered me via e-mail.
  • What is your official callsign? (Reason I'm asking is that ONETX is not a valid callsign as best I can determine.) Tex has answered this as well. Callsign is vk1tx
  • What version of Log4OM are you using? See Help/About.
  • What version of Omnirig are you using?
  • Do you have the most current Omnirig "rigini" file?
  • Have you selected the FTDX10 configuration for Omnirig?
Clip below indicates that Alex provided the FTDX10 file on 03/13/2022.

Issue is likely the INI file as that provides the communications between Log4OM and your rig.

With the FTDX10 being a new rig some adjustments to the INI file might have to be made, but that would have to be addressed to the support folks for Omnirig.
