Hi all,
How do I look at the logs in the database?
There are a number of SQLite files but I cannot seem to be able to open them to see the logs.
Or, are the logs viewed another way???
Regards
Rob

Re: SQLITE database
If you want to open an Sqlite database outside of Log4OM you will need to download an SQLite database management program.
However I warn you that you will probably screw up the data and make it unusable if you lack the knowledge!
Why and what 'Log' do you want to inspect???????????

Re: SQLITE database
Just view them in the Log4OM recent QSO window (F7) or QSO manager!
Have you read the user guide?

Hi Terry,
Yes I have read the user guide.
I thought the logs were saved in a database as well.
What is the SQLite database used for?
Cheers

Re: SQLITE database
The sqlite database is where the log is stored
The recent QSO screen displays what is stored in the SQlite database
When you do a search using the filters Log4OM searches the SQLite database
What other reason do you have for wanting to open the Sqlite database?

Re: SQLITE database
If you REALLY must open the SQLite file then this will do it. https://sqlitestudio.pl/
Be aware that if you don't have knowledge of databases then you might do irreparable damage and we will not be able to help you resolve that

Hi Terry,
Thanks for your help.
My knowledge of computers is quite limited.
I just assumed that the logs would be stored as an "adif". I am unfamiliar with the SQLite database.
Cheers and thanks again...
