I would love to see that if I click the red Clear cross, the time would also be reset. Meaning that if the time is locked via the padlock, it would be unlocked too. Occassionaly I forget to look after that when entering a new call and then the QSO gets logged with the wrong time.

If we do that then entering multiple historic qso's could cause the reverse effect?

Why not use the provided 'set start time when leaving the call sign field'? Then you won't need to lock date/time
