YAESU FT-710
Re: YAESU FT-710
Well, I was able to finally download the latest version, however, it appears that I inadvertantly replaced my sqlite database with a new database losing my original data
Any suggestions on how to recover the original data ?

Re: YAESU FT-710 / ADIF to SQLite Files
OK, I located my ADIF backup of all my data. How do I convert the ADIF file to SQLite files to restore my data base. Thanks for your input. Dan K2DJL

Re: YAESU FT-710
Use the ADIF import option of Log4OM to load it into the new databese you have created. There is no option to convert ist so import ADIF
is the way. Check in Log4OM settings that MySQL Database will be backed up next time into a ZIP file ....

Thank you DF5WW. After re-reading the manual, I successfully imported my backup ADIF into a new database with all of my previous data.....whew !!! You have certainly developed an outstanding logging program ! Thank you so much. Donation on the way. Dan K2DJL 73s
Re: YAESU FT-710
Dan,
RE: FT-710 and Omnirig ....
With the FT-710 being such a new rig I'm sure Alex and/or folks who help him out with the 'ini' files will get one constructed for the new FT-710.
I'm guessing you have not heard back from Alex after your e-mails to him?
In the meantime why not try the ini file for the FTDX-10 rig. The ini file for that rig is dated: 03/13/2022 ... it may work to get the CAT connection to your new rig.
I read that the FT-710 is fundamentally based on the FTDX-10 and the FTDX-101 rigs. Many of the basics might be very similar if not the same.
Can't hurt to give it a go anyway.

I've tried the DX10 ini, no good. Thanks for the suggestion. Dan

Re: YAESU FT-710
Dan,
Did you go through all the steps to set up CAT with your FT-710? I d/l'd the CAT guide for that rig and it has some specific steps to go through.
I got the file from the below URL at the Yaesu website. It's called the FT-710 CAT Operation Reference and is located under the Files Tab.
https://www.yaesu.com/indexVS.cfm?cmd=D ... Archived=0
BTW - I've sent a message to Alex as well and when/if he can he 'might' answer.

Thank you Nolan. I'll give it a try. Dan K2DJL
Re: YAESU FT-710
Nolan: You were spot on! Using FTDX10, 9600 baud, COM 14 Standard, the 710 is now CAT capable!! Again, thank you for educating me and our fellow HAMS !! Very best 73s, Dan K2DJL
