Hi there,
I´m using an RF2K-S solid state amp. It has serveral network connections and the capability to grab the frequency for switching the amp via UDP broadcast.
With the current UDP service types I couldn´t get it working. The RF-Kit manual can be found here: http://www.rf-kit.de/files/User_Manual_ ... NG_V14.pdf. Page 25 describes the UDP setup.
Thanks in advance and thanks for the nice job!,

UDP broadcast
Re: UDP broadcast
I would also like to see the implementation of a UDP Broadcast of the frequency to control the amplifier. The RF_Kit amplifier can read the UDP protocol from any port. Currently only generated by N1MM as described in https://n1mmwp.hamdocs.com/appendices/e ... t-settings

Re: UDP broadcast
I think you mean add the frequency and mode as a a service type to our existing UDP broadcast??

Re: UDP broadcast
Split could always be added. The RF-Kit HF amplifier has the ability to track frequency either using a standard CAT interface, or via UDP protocol over the internet which is useful if the amp is not next to the rig. So the important requirement is tracking Tx Frequency.

Re: UDP broadcast
Those interested in this facility should contact me for an Alpha version for testing Broadcast

Re: UDP broadcast
Terry,
I'm painfully late to comment but the UDP Broadcast works perfectly with my Node-Red Flow to get the N1MM formatted Radioinfo UDP message.
I use it with a YCCC MOAS II antenna switch and all I had to do was enable the broadcast in LOG4OM and change the port number in the Node-Red node that was receiving the N1MM UDP message.
Now I can use 1 radio directly with LOG4OM in non contest use.
Thank You!!!
