CAT problem with FT-857

Hi,
I have a problem with CAT on Yaesu FT-857. LOG4OM switches VFO A / VFO B continuously after connection. I tried with different versions of hamlib. Always the same. It's puzzling that sometimes it works fine, but most of the time it jumps around the VFO. The radio works properly with other programs that communicate via CAT.
The problem occurs in versions 2.24 and 2.25.
