Cluster spot filtering

Post by yo2oxd »

Hi,

Is there a way to customize Log4OM in the same way other logbook software works to see if a cluster spotted entity has not been worked in a particular mode on a particular band, just by looking at the cluster band map?

Example 1: I have only worked New Caledonia in FT8 on 17m, but I have no way of seeing this on the band map unless I click on the callsign and look at the worked table. This is a tedious process.

Example 2: I get a colored dash on the band map for Antigua and all entities I have never worked on 6m in any mode. However, once I work Antigua in FT8 on that band, the band map will not indicate to me when Antigua is working in 6m SSB or CW and I need it in that mode.

Here is an elegant solution from RumLogNG. The band map shows me in blue that I need to work New Zealand in CW on 17m although I have it in FT8. Why can't we have this visibility in Log4OM?

Sadly Rum LogNG only runs on Macs and there are several hamradio apps that require Win so I am forced to struggle with Log4OM.
