Unable to execute File

Hi New here.
I have down load and installed Ver: 2.28.0.0. and i Get Unable to execute File. C:\Program file (86)\iw3hmh\Log40M NextGen\L40NG.exe. I found the file and it did not have the exe so I added it. now the program starts.
I get every thing working good, I can close the program and open it all good.Tell I shut down the computer. all my setting are good when restarting program but no log. i have to make a database and import. I was doing contesting (Canada day contest) had about 12 OSLs logged and computer crashed.(why ?) can't find the log or it did not add to my main log. but i see then they uploaded to EQSL. lol
I running window 10 (64) no antivirus, two radios Yaesu FT847 & Flex 3000
they only thing is when I hit a dxspot in the cluster. it works but sets the flex to DIGU/DIGL not USB or LSB
can live with that but not the log trouble

Seems that windows security is blocking, check to see if the folder or files are read only or protected.

Check firewall is not blocking

Try running the software as an administrator

Its all about user permissions in windows

this is what I have done.
I looked to see if the files here C:\Users\Ve3ryi\AppData\Roaming\Log4OM2. was read only, and they will not change to be not-read.

I looked in C:\Program Files (x86)\IW3HMH\Log4OM NextGen. it the same. The EXE file is set to run
as administration. I have it I am the administration all the time.
I have turned off all the window security and fire wall. uninstalled Log40 and Downloaded/reinstalled.
same thing going on.

I founded when I reinstalled the program all my setting are there but not my log. I was thinking I would be
resetting things backup.

Yes it to the bottom. I have tried other log programs and they work ok. lol Its properly me missing one little thing. I'm getting everything work one thing at a time. just not saving log on computer shutdown. my luck.

What is the location of the log file (.sqlite), have you tried saving it in a different location?

The Database backup [not adif] (SqLITE database only) IS IN:
C:\Users\Ve3ryi\AppData\Roaming\Log4OM2\backup (backup rotation 13)
Enable additional backup is in:
E:\LOGS\LOG40 logs (backup rotation 10)
And I found: Activations.SQLite 7/72023 4:38 PM SQLITE File 105.820 KB And Log4OMNG.SQLite 3/30/2022 12:41 PM SQLite File 20 KB
IN C:\Users\Ve3ryi\AppData\Roaming\Log4OM2


Program in in:
C:\Program Files (x86)\IW3HMH\Log4OM NextGen

As I said have you tried saving the main log .sqlite file to a different location like documents

I am not refering to the backup files

I know I am old but I don't know how or where you like me to change it so It can be saved. Other then the backup folders. and the Database file and that I have going to E: drive.
Sorry for being a pain. I have down loaded other loggers and they work ok.
I just don't get it. it works %100 tell i shut down the computer. I can shut down the program and start it. all is good
Am I the only one this has happen to? lol

It's the database file which is a .sqlite file that I suggest you relocate, try moving it to your C drive documents folder or even the desktop

Is the E drive a removable media like a USB drive?
