Log4OM

Hi there,
so far I have only used the N1MM+ contest log. There was no problem with CW keying from computer (RS232C, DTR or RTS).
I started using Log4OM for non-race QSOs; CW keying requires WinKeyer (K1EL). Unfortunately, I don't think it's available in Europe,
mostly keyers with K1EL interface protocol 1.0 or 2.0 emulation are available.
Is there any experience with for example "Open CW Keyer MK2"?

The PRG jumper was missing, but then it worked fine with N1MM+.
It does NOT work with Log4OM because it emulates WinKeyer V2,
but Log4OM requires WinKeyer V3.

thanks for the info and suggestions.
Unfortunately WiMo microHAM CW Keyer is no longer available and DigiMaster from G4ZLP is out of stock.
K1EL does not supply its products to Europe.
The best way would be to add WinKey protocol 2.0 support to Log4OM...

Best to get the producers of the winkeyer clones to move with the times! the 2.0 protocol is many years out of date - Development of state of the art protocols by developers should not be impeded by the slow reactions of other vendors.

Have you contacted Kanga products for a genuine K1EL?

Or perhaps ask a friend in the US to send you one, I did that with some gear that I could not buy direct
