Score (DXCC,VUCC)

Good morning,

I am setting up my LOG4OM and I see a big difference between my LOTW score and the score in LOG4OM as far as DXCC is concerned, I have not looked at the other one yet.
I have attached screenshots.
My question is how can I get this score right?
So that the Score that is in LOTW is the correct one, is also correct in LOG4OM?
If I had to manually convert all V to GRA, it would take a very long time.
So is there a way to get this done faster and properly?
Because I also save VUCC and IOTA, so a lot of work, I hope someone can give me a good method to get this job done.
thank you in advance.
I'm willing to spend time on it, but I'd like to do it once and make sure it's good.
Sorry for my bad English, I do this via Google translate.

Kind regards, Rien, PA7RA

Where did the QSO's come from, did you make themm in another program if so what program?

No you dont have to manually change V to G the downlaod does that if you follow our instructions

Have you done a full LOTW download using the Log4OM QSL manager?

Rien,
Providing you do a full LOTW download the V will be changed to G automajically

Make sure that you check retrieve credited QSL's and use a start dat as the start of your licence or earliest QSO

Terry,

I have done a Full update Lotw and indeed the score has been updated to a large extent.
but I still don't quite see what could be the reason?
I don't find it a problem to do these manually, but I would like to know why they are not the same as LOTW.
So that I can prevent this in the future.

thanks for the help in advance Terry.

Rien,
Without being able to analyse your database I can only offer a couple of guesses as to the reason for the difference.

When I was involved with HRD development back before 2011 there was no auto download of LOTW credits and verification had only just become available so marking QSO's as verified/validated and credited was a manual task and they were recorded by special program specific fields in HRD, possibly some errors crept in at that time.

I dont know if HRD now do a LOTW download including Granted status but I wonder if the HRD stats match those on the ARRL web site?

It is of course possible that some QSO's were not imported from HRD correctly and that would have been shown in the ADIF import log but I guess that you did not save that?

Also LOTW has no method for the user or external software to delete eroneous QSO's so even duplicates cant be removed, that can cause a miss match of statistics.

If there were no error messages from LOTW when you did the massive update then what you see in Log4OM is what was received from LOTW as far as verified and Granted is concerned.

As it seems there are just a few extra in the LOTW list compared with that in the Log4OM statistics it should be easy for you to track them down using the filters and serch facilities in Log4OM.

Sorry I cant give you a difinitive answer but its always difficult when the log originated from another software package.

Terry,

Thanks for the clear explanation. :D
And indeed there are not that many left to check.
Then we will do the next step VUCC and IOTA but first DXCC
Thanks again Terry,
Also for developing this beautiful software!
