my kenwood 590 will not work in cat interface what my i doing wrong

Log4OM release number?

Hamlib or Omnirig?

Does the com port and baud rate selected in Log4OM EXACTLY match that of the radio connection and MENU setting?

Are any other programs running?

Did you install the Kenwood usb drivers BEFORE connecting to the pc?

Try 9600 baud rate
