Log4OM

I use filters a lot in Log4OM and it works very well.

I use saved filtes to do things like - How many QSOs using my TS990? or How many QSOs in 2023? or Find an error such as any QSO on 80m using my SteppIR antenna, or Find any QSO where I've received a Bureau QSL but haven't returned one, etc., etc. I have about 74 saved filters in Log4OM.

I now have to click the mouse many times to clear a filter. I haven't found a quicker way.

I suggest an improvement such that if you right click on the Filter button at the bottom of any log table, it would pop up a confirmation to "Clear Filter?" and when you click OK it does it.

Why not use the clear parameters icon at top of Filter dialog?

Three mouse clicks and a popup window vs. Two mouse clicks and nothing to clear off the screen.

Ted, your idea is interesting, I have already realized that.

Terry, you are right with your observation, however this fact requires us to make 3 clicks:
1- open the filter window,
2 - click on the icon to clear the filter,
3 - click to close the filter window.

If there were the possibility of doing this direct operation without these procedures, it would be more convenient. Of course, we have all the time to do as Terry says, but at the same time if it were possible to abbreviate, it would be a precious help.

I even suggest just one click for this purpose: we need a button hidden between the "Filters" icon , and the "QSO Map" icon (at bottom)- (not visible) that would only become visible after we had a sampling resulting from the application of a filter. At that time the button becomes visible to the user.
Now it would be enough to click on that button to cancel the effect of the filter used and now the button would return again to the state of invisible.
This way there would be no need to have to open the filter window again to undo the filter
