Hi,
I noticed this option in the settings is un-ticked by default, and the program creates files called backup.adi and config.json. Is it a good idea to tick the database option too? What additional data will it back up?

The user guide explains but basically yes you should set backups and secondary backups in locations of your choice that way your logbook and your configuration are preserved in the event of computer probleems or mistakes
