Manual Updates

Post by g8ghd »

As the manual is updated many times for each version. I wondered if it was possible to mark changes, either by change bars in margins or coloured text? Would be helpful to see changes quickly.
Thanks Bill.

Er! Thats what the release notes are for, see help/about/release notes

Hi Bill,

think that no SW author/s can do this. Not the commercial once nor the free once. It will be a hard work so you have to change
the colours in each version of the manual. What we have new in this one is old in the next update. Only my meaning.
73´s .. Juergen ... ALT-512 SDR (10W) , 50 m random wire at SG-211 autotuner, 2 x Xiegu G90 (20W HF TRX) one as portable Radio. Also TS-790E (40 W) for VHF/UHF with X-50 vertical and Duoband 4-Element LPDA.

I was not trying to suggest anything difficult. My preference was for change bars in the margin. A simple operation in WORD documents to indicate changes in Microsoft Office.
