Incorrect Grid Square information

Post by VK7XX »

I am not sure if this is due to something I have done, or not done but to me this seems to be an error, hence reporting it here.

One example, If I type G4POP in to Log4om 2.32.1.0 the grid square area gets populated with IO92 and if I entered the contact, that is the grid that would be saved. However, on qrz.com in the 'details' area it shows the grid square as JO01jp. Obviously IO92 is incorrect and, as grid square collector, correcting this info is difficult.

Have I missed a setting or, can the code for Log4om be changed to reflect a more accurate grid square ??

regards
John

thanks for this info Terry. Unfortunately, as an oldie on a very small pension, I cannot afford the fees to be an xml subscriber.

Thanks again
