How to modify a QSO and uplod to LOTW

Post by K0AY »

QSO manager does not seem to be the tool.

If I modify a qso to show a qsl card received, I cannot upload the changes to LOTW.

Arthur,

Also ... noting that a "QSL CARD" has been received does not adjust either Sent or Received for your LOTW QSO records.

Carlo
in your example, in the red box you have checked received as no. But I have the QSL card. Should it be marked received? My goal is in LOTW to look up a QSO and see the QSL field filled in. So far that field is empty. That means that the QSO has not been updated.

Arthur,

What Search Confirmation have you selected from the dropdown box? QSL or LOTW?

As I noted above ... if you have marked your "QSL" record as received (IE: Yes) that does not in any way impact the "LOTW" record.

You are not looking close enough to what Carlo has posted. He is referring to the LOTW record. HIs information is the proper steps to get things set so you can upload the Q to LOTW.

BTW - Have you taken the time to watch the 3 YouTube Videos that Terry created for explanations of the "Confirmation" process? Also, have you looked into the extensive information in the User Guide about all the many settings that impact your QSOs for QSL, LOTW, eQSL, Clublog, etc., etc.. ???

I have watched these good videos several times, I have no problems in modifying my QSL records to denote the card has been received. I upload the cards then look in LOTW. I next look under award account but it is blank.I need to get these ATNOs confirmed and then verified. What am I missing?
