Confirmation Screen

I'm reviewing the manual and trying to understand how confirmations work (using QRZ for now). When I have auto sync on, does it both push new QSOs up to the service as well as pull down any confirmations? Or do I have to manually pull confirmations down from the QSL screen?

Also, I am a little confused by the manual on page 115. The attached screen shot is from that page. What does the highlighted section mean? Is the period after Qrz.com a typo? If it is supposed to be there I'm not sure what the sentence means?

Finally, I have a few QSOs that I made prior to setting up the default settings for confirmations. They are currently "NO" for received and "NO" for sent. For those QSOs, I tried to use the QSO manager to bulk change those two fields to queued and requested. However, I don't see the "qrz com received" and "qrz com sent" fields in the drop down on the "single field update" screen?

Is it possible to bulk update those somehow?

Thanks for any help! I feel like I've been asking a lot of questions so thanks for sticking with me!! :D

1. The on line confirmation systems like QRZ and LOTW only provide a system whereby we can AUTOMATICALLY upload QSO's, either as the QSO is saved or upon closing Log4OM

They DO NOT provide a method where external software like Log4OM, HRD etc, can AUTOMATICALLY download QSO Confirmations.

Ergo: We cannot provide an AUTOMATIC download facility it must be done manually.

2. The single field update of confirmations is done in the QSL manager - NOT the QSO manager

Try watching the three you tube tutorials we provided "Confirmstion 1, 2 & 3"

Thanks for the video. That was helpful. That got me a lot closer to where I need to be.

Still having issues with a few things but I'll keep fiddling with it and see if I can get it to work.
