Cluster & Band-Map Spots ... not matching up!

I've noticed this now and then over many months and possibly up to a year or more.
A friend of mine is a pilot and tries to activate POTA sites during his trips across the globe.
This morning he was spotted on the n4zkf cluster (one of the ve7cc cluster network) and I got an alert notification (as I had set that up a long time ago) that he had been spotted in 'PA' (Netherlands). His spot did appear in my Band-Map display, but did not show up in the Cluster (F8) display.
Both displays have the same filter settings so 'should be' showing all the same spots.
HA6PX did spot PA/KB4CO on the hamalert.org cluster and that spot DID appear in the Cluster (F8) display.
So my question is: Why does Log4OM treat some clusters differently than others? If I get an Alert Notification and the spot shows up in my Band-Map why does it not also show up in the Cluster (F8) display?
Something is not quite proper it appears.
