How can I duplicate my setup on another PC?

Title taken from the FAQ section on this 2020 post:

Does this still apply? As I have just navigated to appdata/roaming and I see a folder Log4OM but all the files are datestamped 2015. I'm (on the old PC) using Log4OM V2.1.7
As I was running Log4OM yesterday, I'm guessing somewhere I should have files that were updated yesterday?

Looking at my launch shortcut, it appears my installation is in:
C:\Log4om217\
and in there, in:
C:\Log4om217\config
seems to be the same named files as in the 2015 dated folder ....\AppData\Roaming\LogOM
so I'm guessing that config folder is the one to copy to new PC when I install the new Log4OM?

But page 266 refers to the folder
C:\Users\YOUR USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Log4OM2\Backup
which as I have said, is not present on my PC.
There is a Log4OM folder, as said, but that I imagine is from my old V1 install as dated 2015.

I think you need to update your user guide page 266 of the latest guide refers
Those folders are installed with Log4OM V2 and once you enter and save your call data the user config folder is also saved, thus enabling you to overwite with your original install folders from the other PC
Your most recent files are saved here C:\Users\YOUR USER NAME\AppData\Roaming\Log4OM2\user

As said, my existing install is not structured that way.
However, I have found the Backup folder.
On the NEW install, are these the the only files I need to copy across?
G1YBB_20240903_081946_backup.adi
G1YBB_20240903_081946_config.json
G1YBB_20240924_181133_backup.adi
G1YBB_20240924_181133_config.json
G1YBB_20240929_150730_backup.adi
G1YBB_20240929_150730_config.json
G1YBB_20240930_133639_backup.adi
G1YBB_20240930_133639_config.json
M1B_20241003_112139_config.json
MW1B_20241003_125735_backup.adi
MW1B_20241003_125735_config.json
And if I duplicate my shortcuts like below, will they match up?
C:\Log4om217\L4ONG.exe --CONFIG:e9d7abe4-7b67-4e9b-xxxx-4334a6b829ae

Do you have Skype on either of the computers? if so I can walk you through this
BTW Log4OM should be installed to the default directories not as a folder on the C drive

Well as far as Log4OM is concerned do as follows:
1. Download and install the latest release from here:
https://www.log4om.com/l4ong/release/Lo ... 33_0_0.zip to the new PC
a. Install Omnirig 1.2 during the Log4OM set up (Check the box for Omnirig)
b. Let Log4OM install to the default locations, not to the C drive
2. Start Log4OM and when prompted insert your call sign and locator in the Station info menu, click save & apply and close Log4OM (Ignore the database menu for now)
3. Copy all of the files from the old PC located here C:\Users\YOUR USER NAME\AppData\Roaming\Log4OM2\user (This folder contains the config.json that you require and also a lot of files with a file name starting with 'Layout_..........')
a. Paste the files and folders above to C:\Users\YOUR USER NAME\AppData\Roaming\Log4OM2\user on the new install of Log4OM - Allow the existing files to be overwritten.
4. On the old PC copy the database file for the logbook and paste to the same location on the new PC - HINT! the name file ends in .sqlite
Now re start the new install of Log4OM and you should find its a replica of your original installation.
If you have issues install Skype and contact me

Well that all worked to about 95%
I copied over my various profile shortcuts, tweaked the path to the new path and 4 worked just perfectly. I pointed each one to its associated database and great.
Except ONE.
This one instead of opening up its set profile just opens the last one I opened. No others do this behaviour.
It happens to be one I created very recently. (Though works perfectly on the old PC)
As this new one only has one imported log I thought I would just create a brand new profile and pull that log in. But the create link on desktop button did nothing at all, no shortcut arrived. ??
