Slow start, based on email address

Hi.
I've been trying to register for a few days. It's been painful. Mostly because the website does not recognise my email address (an email address I've held for 27 years) as valid.
I've ended up creating a new email address just to register and I don't plan on using it for anything else.
There didn't seem to be any way of talking to anyone unless I was first registered.
I wonder if there's anything to be done to facilitate registration for folk in the future, or have I been silly ... or unlucky?
Anyway, thanks for letting me in. Now I can start asking stupid questions!

Sometimes the server takes a dislike to certain email providers and we are not aware until a user reports it

Yes, I learned this after a friend reported the same thing: our problem was that there is no way to tell the Log4OM forum team, as one has to be registered to contact them.

I am fairly sure that if you check the administators and alpha team members at the bottom of the index page it shows our call signs, a simple QRZ lookup finds our email addresses

I would have hoped so, however, when I log out and click on "Alpha Team Members" it insists that I log in.

Hope this helps.
