Documentation Suggestions

I would like to suggest the following changes to all published user documentation:
  • Add the version number of the software to the cover page of the user manual for that version, not just the date of publication.
  • PLEASE: Update the very helpful "Working with JT applications" PDF file and reference the version numbers for both LOG4OM and JT applications that it applies to.
  • Create a system on the website that makes previous versions of user manuals available for those that can't or dont want to update for some reason.
The reason for this is that the dialogs have changed a lot over multiple versions of Log4OM and JT tools. So when I try to figure something out, few of the screenshots actually match the documentation. This is very frustrating!

Putting only the date on the cover page does not help because I don't track the date a version was released, I only care that the manual is specific to the version I have installed!

Thank you.

I am sorry the user guide does not satisfy your requirements but at 84 years of age I can't face the complete rewrite that you suggest, it takes most of my spare time keeping it up to date with the latest program changes.

It's a shame your not this side of the Atlantic otherwise I would happily hand over the job to you. However if there is someone in Europe that would like to come forward to do the job we would appreciate it.
